Calendar FAQ

 The Tully Community Calendar provides a quick and easy way to find out what is happening in the greater Tully area.  Find more information about the Calendar features below.

Add the calendar app to your phone or other mobile device

View the calendar on your phone using the QR code below and choosing “Mobile”.

To add the calendar as an icon to your phone’s home screen:

iPhones – While viewing the mobile interface on your phone, tapthe Share button the Share button in the menu bar, scroll down the list of options, then tap Add to Home Screen.

Android – While viewing your calendar in Chrome, tap the 3 vertical dots.  Then tap “Add to Home screen”.


How to ADD activities or events to the Tully Community Calendar

If you would like to have public meetings, activities or events appear on the calendar, select the “Suggest new event” button at the top of the calendar and provide the pertinent information about the event (date, time, location, description of the event, contact information, etc.). New event suggestions are reviewed and posted to the calendar, generally within 24 hours.

PLEASE NOTE: This feature is not available when using a mobile device. Please use a computer or email the event information to [email protected].


How to add the Tully Community Calendar to your website

What kinds of information can I include on the Calendar for my event?

The event description can include a text description of the event, recurring dates/times if applicable, location map, documents, images, links to additional information, invitation to RSVP and event reminders.


YES, Local Small Businesses can post events to the Tully Community Calendar

Knowing that local businesses are an essential part of our town and often host events that benefit the community, the Calendar invites Tully area businesses to post events using the following guidelines to determine what types of events to post.

Local businesses can post public-facing, community-oriented events such as:

  • Open houses, appreciation events or events featuring music &/or art
  • Free community classes, workshops or wellness activities
  • Fundraisers and collaborations with non-profit organizations
  • Seasonal celebrations and participation in fairs

What can’t be posted:

  • General advertisements or promotions (e.g. “20% off this week)
  • Private or invite-only events
  • Repetitive posts or over-posting
  • Events not aligned with community values

Oversight – The calendar administrator reserves the right to reject or remove inappropriate or off-mission content.
